The Ball wall clock features spokes with colored lacquered wood balls at the ends that serve as the hour markers. These radiate out from a black cylindrical core housing the clock mechanism driving the black hour and minute hands. Based on a design of some 40 years ago, the clock keeps modern time by a high quality Quartz movement (requiring only one AA battery; not included).
